Anthony Joshua v Andy Ruiz Jr: Rematch in Saudi Arabia on December 7

Countries such as Wales, United Kingdom, United States and even Mexico were the options to be the venue for this great fight but it was decided to do it outside the American continent.-

Matchroom Sports officially presented the rematch by Twitter where it gave details of the date and place that will be host, this being December 7, 2019 in the country of Saudi Arabia.

This is one of the most anticipated rematches between mexican full-weight champion Andy Ruiz Jr. and Britain’s Anthony Joshua.

According to information from the Daily Telegraph Saudi Arabia offered $100 million dollars to acquire the location of this rematch, ahead as the number one option, as Wales and the United Kingdom were of the headquarters that were close to finalizing the deal.

This long-awaited fight will contest the WBO and FIB world heavyweight belts for which both boxers aspire.

Promoter Eddie Hearn will present a press conference next Monday to give more details of what will be one of this year’s best fights.
