BOXERS WHO HAVE USED CLETO REYES

We all know that our gloves are a handmade process approved by the main boxing organizations and recognized worldwide, that is why we do not find it strange that big boxing names want to use them.

But maybe you didn’t know which of them preferred our gloves to the competition, here the boxers who have used Cleto Reyes for their fights:

• Mohammed Ali

One of the best boxers of all time. Ali was an American boxer who won a gold medal at the Rome Olympics in 1960- and four-times champion of the heavyweight title.

Ali decided to fight with our gloves against Michael Spinks on September 15, 1978, in New Orleans for the WBA and the Linear Heavyweight Championship.

• Mike Tyson

The former American boxer who won twice the world heavyweight title and the youngest ever to get it to others who. In 2010 was included in the World Boxing Hall of Fame and in 2011 in the International Hall of Fame Boxing.

Tyson fought with Cleto Reyes gloves in his fight against Lennox Lewis on June 8, 2002, for the WMC / IBF / WBO / The Ring / heavyweight linear championships in Tennessee.

• Julio César Chávez

Considered by many to be the best Mexican boxer who won world titles in the Superfeather, Lightweight, and Superlight divisions. In 2011 he was included in the International Boxing Hall of Fame and considered one of the top 10 in boxing history.

The Mexican chose to use his country gloves in his fight with Roger Mayweather on July 7, 1985, in Las Vegas.

• Manny Pacquiao

The Philippine who is the current super welterweight champion of the World Boxing Association has been named as the “Boxer of the Decade” by the WBC and considered one of the best fighter pounds for pound by The Ring magazine. And he has earned nine world titles in eight different categories.

Pacquiao has used our gloves in his fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr on May 2, 2015, in La Vegas, where the welterweight titles for WBA, WBC, WBO, and The Ring were in-game.

• Oscar de la Hoya

The Mexican-American winner of a gold medal at the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992 and champion in the WB super feather, light and medium divisions, IBF light, WBC super light, welterweight super-welter and WBA super-welter.

• Juan Manuel Márquez

Current WBO Decade Champion, one of the best pounds per pound of The Ring magazine and WBO super lightweight world champion. He has become a world champion in three categories.

The Mexican fought with our gloves against Timothy Bradley on October 12, 2013, for the WBO welterweight title.

 

And of course, these boxers have not only fought just once with them, but most have also used them with different boxers and won with them in their hands.
