This Friday, December 20th, the Talking Stick Resort Arena, in Phoenix, Arizona,
will host the stellar fight between Julio Cesar Chavez Jr and Daniel Jacobs, where also the Mexican
Julio César ”Rey” Martínez and former Nicaraguan world champion Cristofer ”Látigo” Rosales,
will dispute an early combat, the vacant World Boxing Council flyweight championship (WBC).
There is a lot of expectation before the return to the quadrilaterals of JC Chavez Jr, who fought early this year
against the Colombian Evert Bravo who knocked out very easily in the first round, in a fight that took place in San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco.
Recall that before that Chavez lost to Saúl Canelo Álvarez on May 6th, 2017 and the American Jacobs
also comes with a defeat against Saul but on May 4th of this year.
The son of Mexican boxing legend JC Chavez, who has given a lot to talk about his past fights,
JC Chavez Jr needs to go out with his hands up, otherwise this could mean the decline of his career.
Chavez Jr mentioned, “I think this is my moment, and now I need to take the next big step.”
“It will be a good fight for fans, and after that, I will be ready to win another world championship.
This fight feels like a world title match, because Danny is a true champion, and me too”.
