Prograis Vs Zepeda Vacant tittle

Regis Prograis weighed in at 139 pounds, while Jose Zepeda weighed 139.4 lbs on Friday’s weigh-in for their fight for the vacant light welterweight title at the Dignity Health Sports Park, in Carson, California.
“It’s a fight of assassins against assassins,” Prograis said during an interview with BoxingScene.com. “You have two killers in the ring, two southpaws and we both have great power in our hands.”

“I’m going to pound Zepeda. I’m going to beat him up. Of course, I’m going to hit Zepeda. Don’t get me wrong, he’s explosive, he has knockout punches. But I’m not Josué Vargas, not even close. I’m not Ivan Baranchyk. I know that He has punching power and stuff like that, but I know he’s never fought anyone like me.”
Zepeda (35-2, 27 KOs) will be getting his third chance to fight for a world title, and he wants to take full advantage this time. He lost to Jose Ramirez in 2019 in a fight for the WBC 140-lb belt and against Terry Flanagan in 2015 in a fight for the vacant WBO title.
