After overcoming a rare illness, Vergil Ortiz is ready to get back in the ring.

Someone’s “0” will disappear on Saturday when Vergil Ortiz Jr. and Michael McKinson square off at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

The fight will be broadcast live and exclusively worldwide on DAZN.

Ortiz and McKinson were scheduled to meet in March. But during fight week, Ortiz had to withdraw after being diagnosed with rhabdomyolysis, a disease that causes the breakdown of damaged muscles and releases the contents of muscle cells into the blood.

McKinson (22-0, 2 KOs) remained on the show and defeated Alex Martin via unanimous decision. And now five months later The Briton is excited to get the opportunity that seemed to slip out of his hands.
