‘BIG DRAMA SHOW’ BACK TO THE MADISON SQUARE GARDEN RING GENNADY GOLOVKIN WILL FACE SERGIY DEREVYANCHENKO

October 5 will be the day we´ll see the fight for the IBF that was taken from the Mexican ‘Canelo’ Álvarez for not fighting in September and where now the Ukrainian is the number 1 contender for the belt.

As part of the agreement of six fights and 100 million dollars signed by Gennady, the vacant IBF middleweight title against the fighter who attended the 2008 Beijing Olympics will be one of the big fights to close this 2019.

The Kazakh has everything ready for his return. He wants to recover the title that Saul Alvarez took away from him in 2018 and now plans to win it in a 12 rounds duel with Derevyanchenko.

“I have a great deal of respect for ‘GGG’ and looking forward to proving in the ring that I will be up to challenge and fulfil my lifelong dream of becoming a world champion.” Said the Ukrainian.

Now we have a date on Saturday 5 to see who takes the middleweight title home.
